Public prosecutors indicted Phra Sanitwong Wuthiwangso, head of the communications office of Wat Phra Dhammakaya, in the Criminal Court. Somnuek Siangkong, the Office of the Attorney General (OAG) spokesman, said the Criminal Cases Litigation Office 8 filed the indictment against Phra Sanitwong with the Criminal Court on Tuesday afternoon, as recommended by Crime Suppression Division investigators. Winyat Chartmontree, the monk's lawyer, said they had witnesses for the defence and would fight the case in court. He said Phra Sanitwong, who is free on 400,000 baht bail after reporting to the CSD, would report to the court on Wednesday and would again seek release on bail.
